So I'm having trouble with LJ...  actually, for the last 1.5 months, and it seems like LJ staff can't be bothered to help me with this problem. Boooo.........

Basically I don't get any emails sent to my email address linked to this account, notifying me that someone has replied to a comment I made on their LJ post. And now I don't get the notifications in my LJ mail box notifying that someone has replied.

Seems like other people have been having this problem too.

Sorry if I don't ever end up replying to someone's comment. I try to my best to revisit old posts to check for replies now and then.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Okay. Here's the strange part. I first saw it as going Anti-clockwise... and then when I looked at it again, it was going clockwise. Then when I kept staring at it, it switched back to anti-clockwise. Now when I keep looking at it, it switches back and forth, going clockwise and anti-clockwise. My brain seriously has some issues?

What does everyone see? Am I the only one having this situation?

I'd like to give a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everybody who came to the Chinese Cosplay Party today. Silver & I very much appreciated you all coming out and blessing us with your friendship, smiles, and delightful auras. The weather turned out great, and I hope everyone had a enjoyable time running around the gardens and doing what we do best. And last but not least, the party gifts are juuuust amazing and beautiful. I must say to everyone, even though we came up with this unique theme out of the blue, you rose to the challenge, and gave us the best reinterpretation of the theme. I am very proud of you all.

Not only was there great cosplay, there were also many pretty Qi Pao's today. They're great because they really helped bring out your nice figures. I'm extra glad we had this Chinese theme too because it forced ravient to don on the Qi Pao, and face her fear of wearing dresses. Can't forget that athira was also the one to motivate her too. In the end she looked great, anyone else agree? Ravi, you should do more girl cosplays. 

Team SM + MadNad, you make Ranma 1/2 fans all around the world proud and oh, you're crack shots are totally WTF lololol, exclamation mark full stop. I want moooore ~!!!!

To China, Hong Kong & Taiwan, together with your epicness combined you have potential to take over the world. In the meantime though, please post up the photos of your mini shoot. Can't wait to see them.

To glorfindel and breathless_ness , I regret not having the time to take photos of you two in your marvellous costumes, but the photos taken by silversilverharmony  and col_of_man  on my camera are pretty good ;)... I'll have them graded & uploaded as soon as posssible.

I must admit that 3 year old card was a pretty funny idea. Not sure about that drawing in the card though. Do I seriously have a swirly moustache and hairy legs? Do I usually wear poncho's and spread the word of Love & Peace? hahaha.................. hmmm........maybe I need to reimage myself.

I found me a good beige belt today. lol. Actually, it's more on the brown side, in fact, erh... it's not beige at all... but squint your eyes and it'll look beige.

The truth is, I can't spend anymore time looking for the perfect beige one anymore. And a good thing about this belt is it's not glossed, so it's spray paint-able. I think it is Okay...... If i can find the time, it's time to get me some spray paint!!

I've decided to enter the dark side. I've joined the empire. I've signed that soul contract, yada yada. People, I'm now using Picassa to upload these albums. I really hate how google albums without Picassa only allows you to upload 5 pics at a time. You have to use Picassa. And the most SH*Tiest thing about Picassa is that it has to scan through your entire computer and bring up all your pics. INVASION OF PRIVACY not??? I've decided to trade my privacy for browsing convenience. I just hope my paranoia doesnt come true, and the FBI or something comes knocking at my door because Picassa released some *ahem* information.
(Picassa, I've got my eye on you. Any bad moves, and it's straight to the Add/Remove Programs for you)

Also, the images loses almost 70% sharpness or more in these google Albums. Maybe it's just my eyes. Anyone feel the same?


OH... you may probably have or haven't realised this, but the first 74 pics can be somewhat epic fail. *sigh*....... it's because a few nights before the shoot, I went out to shoot some night stuff, and I had to use an ISO of 1000. I didn't realise until I had to take that shot of Haku strangling Naruto......... F*************************************CK.

oh wells. Learning process. I just hope I don't make this mistake ever again.

I got to say thanks to silverharmony for getting me excited about doing Luffy again. Initally I was going to go as Christmas Luffy, with the his red vest and red fluffy shorts, but I did want a challenge this time. And since I have to make the Ulquiorra costume later this year, I thought making something from scratch and learning in the process will be good practice.

So I remembered this picture, found it on my comp, fell in love with it, and knew I had to do it:

SO YOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS GOING TO MAKE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I learnt how to use a sowing machine and make my costume in one week. lol. So much for last minute. Hahahahaha............. I also got some great advice from breathless_ness  and silverharmony . THANKS GUYS~!!!!!!

But I got to say it was quite an enjoyable. You really have to use your brain, and really think ahead. I obviously didn't think ahead, and that's why my left pant leg was shorter than my right. Other things include not making the hooves so I'm a bit upset about that, but I guess that's why you need to start earlier.

All in all, it was all fun. It was great to catch up with everyone, and learn lots of things.

And also take the chance to wish everyone a !!!!!!!!!~***HAPPY NEW YEAR*** ~!!!!!!!!! See you all soon :D

On the way to the restaurant, I was testing the IXUS camera. I got this shot randomly, and I quite like it. It makes my station look more country like than it is.

Alrights....., because it was night time, I used an external Flash. The flash has always helped in giving a bit of fill during daytime shoots. But this time, I'm not to sure about these shots. They're not as colour pretty as miyukiko 's pics. I guess that's the risk you take for retaining image sharpness. Good, bad? *shrugs* I don't know.

I do know that I need more practice during night time shoots with the Flash. And practice I shall :D Hope you like the pics anyways!

In spirit of valentines, I've decided to draw a fanpic for this occasion.

I haven't finished it yet, so it's work in progress. I guess I got lazy...lol.........

This was also a challenge for me, as it was my 2nd over fan pic ever. I wanted to see if I had what it takes to draw. I don't think I did well, but I'm not willing to give up. If you have any ways you can help me, queries or comments, feel free to pass them on to me =)

On Saturday I attended a 21st birthday with the theme of 80's movie character. I was influenced by Silver from silverharmony to do Pazu from Laputa: Castle in the Sky. It took me a total 2 days to make it. 1 day collecting stuff, and another whole day looking for a brown vest.

I was also really glad I did Pazu, because I was planning to Marty Mcfly from Back to the Future. Turns out someone else went as Marty. All safe here =)
Silver also went as a ravishing Sheeta, but I won't be posting any pics off her till I get her permission.

There aren't many good modeling shots of Pazu (since it was such a hectic party), but I did manage the time to quickly do one modeling shot. I changed the background later (obviously =P), and TADA!!! here are the dodgy results.

I have a question...... if I Aizen was a shinigami, and now turned leader of Espada, why doesn't he make a full fledged attack?, knowing well of the circumstance of the Soul society?

Started watching shonen again. That's naruto, bleach and One Piece. actually... to be technically correct, I started watching naruto and One Piece again, and now have also begun watching bleach.

Naruto is still sh*t! AyA...... it' ssssssstill so slow. How can someone stand the 4 second freeze frames and obvious plot lines???

I started watching Bleach from episode 154. There's quite a bit of action involved. The hollows seem a bit random amongst all the action, but I guess it's their style.
From what I know, Rukia is awesome, for the one reason. She's a water-type user. YaY!!

And there's something about Pesche Guatiche... he's funny? lame funny... but funny. Why is he funny? I never laugh at lame stuff @_@


Then there's One Piece. Ah yes...One Piece memories =)

I stopped watching at Ep 160 something. Today I begun watching from 334. And I still get the general jist of what happened in between @_@. LOL, hya hya hya.... is that a good thing???

But once again, TOPS to One Piece. 337 eps have passed, and it's still top anime!! Quick cuts, nice action, terrificly executed motifs.

But because I did miss a few eps, I have a few questions:

1) Why is Luffy wearing an orange vest these days?


2) Why is Robin always so unhappy =( ? .... i can't bare to see this.... 


3) When did Robin start wearing panty hosing ^__^????


4) And this question is for the jappys. What does the Nami's sign say??

I am sitting here, watching sounds fly past my eyes. The possibility of something going comical has a standard chance such as one is about to fry. What am I transgressing, I have no idea, but I assure that I am bored in the essence of the word. In conclusion, I have only to surpass that I am waiting.......... *Looks for a waiting emoticon*
